Ashlee Simpson Black was born and raised in Holden and is delighted to be able to put her knowledge of the greater Bangor area and customer service to work for her clients. After graduating from John Bapst in 2006, Ashlee continued on to graduate from the University of Maine in 2010 with a degree in Sociology with a concentration in crime, law and deviance. After spending 10 years working in customer service, she found her love of the business world and attended Husson University to receive her MBA in 2015 with high honors and a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Business Fraternity. A licensed real estate agent since 2013 with Realty of Maine. Ashlee currently holds a Broker license and is a Realtor®. Ashlee excels in communication and attention to detail to ensure that every transaction is handled with care from start to finish. Ashlee lives in Brewer with her husband Mike and 3 loyal dogs, Finn, Wilson and Moses. When she is not selling houses, she spends her time exploring our beautiful state, eager to share new spots with newcomers. With a passion for volunteer work, Ashlee sits on the Realty of Maine Care Committee, Brewer Area Food Pantry Advisory Committee, Epilepsy Foundation of New England Council and is the 2023-2024 Chair for the MAR Foundation. She is constantly looking for a way to give back to the community that built her and continues to give to her business. Ashlee also served on the Greater Bangor Association of Realtors® Board 2016-2022 and the Maine Association of Realtors® Board 2018, and 2020-2023. She was overjoyed to be awarded the local GBAR Realtor of the Year in 2022.

Joe Simpson brings 30 plus years of sales and customer service experience to The Simpson Team. Joe utilizes his vast experience to best benefit his clients. Joe understands there is truth behind the old saying "the devil is in the details," and Joe's attention to the details means you can trust that The Simpson Team will handle any issue that may arise during the home buying or selling process, completely and thoroughly. Currently, Joe splits his time between Maine and his home in The Villages, FL with his wife Tracy and their 2 pups Chloee and Murphy. In addition to his Make-A-Wish work, Joe Simpson was instrumental in bringing Bangor Area Street Pastors, a non-denominational community presence, to life in August 2014. Joe also participates in Dads for a Day when he is in Florida, enjoys Golf and touring The Villages community in their Golf Cart.
